Pfffff...that was actually rather amusing. Sure the art quality was a bit bleh, but who cares. Don't need insanely good graphics to enjoy something, especially when it's geared toward humor.
The loading screen didn't show up till it was fully loaded (All I saw were little dots for all of it), but other than that and how long it took to load, this is really funny. I wanted to do this with a similar group of friends too, but I don't think that'll happen anymore. Make more =)

It's somewhat original and the animating itself is pretty good yeah, but it's nothing too new or interesting. And like everyone said, it's short. I was expecting it to be much longer due to have a 11.2 filesize. You need to learn how to compress Flash and the audio in it. also, try changing up the music for each part. It's boring to here the same song in the intro.
Try harder next time, and for the love of God, compress your next one. I'm surprised Fulp let this pass.

Your style improvement is a nice touch. They look much more complex, even if they still are a bit blocky/pointy. But it's not distracting enough to take away from the overall flash, and it's become a signature of sorts anyway for you. So don't change it!
The storyline confused me a little, but I still enjoyed watching this. I'm surprised none of your flashing abilities dwindled after a 3 year break. I guess your just that good =P

At the moment, it's kinda dull and boring. But you did say this was practice, and I suppose for a test, it's not that bad. I think Sonic could have been running faster maybe (kinda felt like he was running with some sort of restraining on his movements). Love the music though, and it seems you know how to handle music well in a flash.
The sprite where Sonic stopped randomly to lay down looked a bit odd, like pixel-y. Might have been a bad sprite or it wasn't cropped well. But easily fixable. I think the biggest issue is, you should make it much longer next time. Maybe something funny or random. Sprite sonic is usually good fodder for that =P

I was trying to use the sprites, for actions sonic doesnt really have (at least any sprites I could find).
The intent was to have him stop so fast that he falls backwards, then flips around so hes lying down facing the other way (the pose from the games continue screen)
I also just realized I completely forgot the charge-up sound for the end... I will have to get that.
Im working on my next one, and im actually currently working on beefing up his running!

this actually made me laugh out loud XD And that's hard to do in my case. didn't expect the machine to do that (but you'd think with all the time and flashes I see on NG, I should by now lol).
I'm not much knowing for stop animation, but the 2D animation was decent. And the expressions made me lul. But it looks unfinished. too bad you had to cut most of it. But Nice job =) you get a 7 for good attempt! Keep at it!

Pretty good potential here for sure! A bit of a slow beginning, but the animation is quite fluid. A bit messy sometimes, but fluid! the music tied in well as well.
Oh and Don't worry about reviewers who rate 0 because they are whining spoiled brats who think every submission on NG must catter to their ever whim. You'll learn to ignore those types =)

Not perfect, but pretty good.
I'll admit you got something going here on the right track. Your use of 3D and 2D was done pretty well, and the cat didn't look out of place much, if at all.
You do have some things to work on though. I think the cat's anatomy was a bit funky when you had it running or walking. Also, there wasn't much emotion expressed...the cat constantly looked stunned or confused with it's mouth always open like that. I think it would have been sooooo much better if you moved it's mouth to mimic it's emotions better, or at least keep it's gapping hole shut XD But you did express it's sadness in the end!
The music was fitting, but a few of the sound effects seemed kinda tacted on or out of sync, or even not really fitting. But this was one of the lesser issues I had with it.
It kinda made me wanna tear up at the end. A very well done flash overall! Keep up the good work! I can see this making front page easily!
well, there's a lot of error and i admit it.
besides, it will slow me down if i put more detail and i have a time limit for this project(and i don't have waccom or tablet to enhance the drawings)

It's a bit unsteady for a sprite flash, and very stiff. You made it ovbious that they were mostly tweens and their movemetns were realistic because of it.
Still for your first time, it's not half bad. I would recommend you research audio compression though, as not only was the music loud, it's a large file size. There are tutorials that can help all over the web. You migth as well look up others that might help make your sprites more fluid in motion =)

You almost had it! Decent animation...killer music...and then it ends? This really should have been longer...either that or funnier. I didn't really catch myself laughing.
This really feels unfinished, but for what it is, it's not that bad. But man you should really make a longer more involving version or something.

This would make a smashing intro. But that's all it is. an intro. Not a movie. It's good though, but NG doesn't need intros. Add this to the beginning of an actual flash. You seem to be good at using sprites, so make a Sonic sprite movie? It's a suggestion.
